Good to know: to compress a PDF in the browser, wandlr redraws each page as an image. That makes the file smaller, but the text is no longer selectable or searchable afterwards. If you need to keep selectable text, this tool isn't the right fit — yet.

Just your browser, no black box
Images are re-encoded with the browser's built-in Canvas API. PDFs use two well-known open-source libraries, loaded once and then run entirely offline in memory.
